What a 72 year old man taught me

by Ken

Many years ago I had the privilege to meet a gentleman at the ripe young age of 72. At which time I was 23. After a while the conversations turned to more than the weather and he told once and only once that if you don't learn something new every day it is a waste of a day. I wish I had the wisdom then to say thank you. It took awhile but I now appreciate and pass on his wisdom. R.I.P. my friend. Knowledge is every where, recognize it.
