WA Long-Term Care Ombudsman's Offices This program helps improve the quality of life of residents in nursing homes and personal care homes by acting as residents’ independent advocate. Ombudsman staff and volunteers informally investigate and resolve complaints on behalf of residents. They visit long-term care facilities to be accessible to residents and monitor conditions.
