Personal Cooking (Healthy Meals) At Elder's Home

Dear Friend:

My name is Norma Llop. I'm interested in inquiring and offering my personal services for home cooked meals for elder people. I'm a widowed daughter of two older but healthy parents. I'm also a Culinary Institute of America graduate cook, interested in getting hired by other widowers soon, either residents of Isla Verde section (suburban San Juan, Puerto Rico) who may need of healthy cooking at home under any of the following needs:

1. To have a private cook at home perhaps to complete one week dinner meals in just one day and leave frozen in freezer for microwave warming. Meals can be categorized by principal ingredients, portioned and easily identified in Zip Lock boxes.

2. Deliver healthy meals pre-cooked early from my kitchen and delivered frozen as TV dinners, and delivered early morning in a route from Plaza Carolina mall (furthermost point) to Isla Verde. By my experience at home taking light care of me own parents, it can easily be added to my priorities in my family.

3. If elderly is home bound, I can see the need for shopping of groceries too, every Saturday or Sunday or at night. Payment on delivery would be necessary and a comprehensive list of items (including brands that may already be familiar) is recommended. Storage in home kitchen may also be inquired.

4. Provide the occasional entertaining activity, by providing personalized cooking classes for home entertainment for a group of ladies as a family party, perhaps during cards playing, club reunions of neighborhood friends or for a family birthday reunion or sightseeing trip, in perhaps a garden BBQ or an organized culinary picnic off- premises from home, tour a food venue or assist at rented country home or villa is great for seniors to do and great way to provide fun, to seniors groups.

5. Puerto Rico is a tourist destination. Isla Verde and Condado sections are beach areas full of condos for rental of "snow birds" so do not hesitate to call to handle elderly apartment owners who may need occasional care for escorting adults, traveling with elder parents in need.

Healthy meals can be cooked by another 54 retired mature widowed person, like myself, as I already do for my parents, is my main interest. It's just a matter of organizing agendas, menus and distribution, so servicing Ute in relative short center of operations. In my case, i live fairly close to Plaza Carolina Mall, so I can deliver as far as Isla Verde Area. Do call for a quote, much will depend on menu and scheduling.
