Ohio Buckeye Card More than two million Ohioans are eligible for the Golden Buckeye card, honored at 16,000 businesses statewide. Golden Buckeye cardholders have saved an estimated $2 billion since 1976. All Ohioans age 60 or better, as well as adults age 18-59 who have disabilities as defined by Social Security, are eligible for a free Golden Buckeye Card. Ohio Department on Aging The Area Agencies on Aging are offices established through the Older Americans Act that serve to facilitate and support the development of programs to address the needs of older adults in a defined geographic region (see map) and support investment in their talents and interests. Pro Seniors Legal Services Founded in 1975, Pro Seniors is a non-profit organization that provides free legal and long-term care help to older adults.
