Norman's Moving and Home Service, LLC of Youngstown has recently earned certification as a Senior Approved Service. Senior Approved Services (SAS) is a national network of products, resources and services that are endorsed by seniors and their families.

Elder care businesses within the SAS directory must obtain certification through a customer satisfaction survey process and must achieve a 90 percent or higher rating.

Lloyd Norman started Norman's Moving and Home Services seven years ago with senior's needs in mind. "We cater to the unique needs of the older adult and focus on the details of the move from beginning to end," said Norman.

In addition to cross town or cross country moving, other home services are also available. These include disconnecting and connecting appliances, and unpacking wardrobes and other large boxes. Other optional services are packing items such as fine china and other fragile accessories. Normans utilizes shrink wrap and the latest in packing materials.

The company employees go out of their way in protecting a client's flooring by using floor mats and coverings. Debris and moving materials are also removed at the end of the move. A comprehensive estimate is provided before the move.

"We go the extra mile," stated Norman. He added that staff is provided with ongoing training and must follow strict company guidelines.
