Introduction
I am Joanie Knibbe still advocating for the death of our mother since April 15, 2002 in Salem, Oregon. Loveda Powell was her name, 80 years old, a heart patient and died of an aneurysm.
What's on My Mind
Our family had no idea that mother had this aneurysm when we had to relocate mother from Springfield, Oregon on Feb. 11, 2002. If we were told, then we would not have moved mother! All we knew was that mother was being neglected and needed help with her medical care.
What I would like to share about myself and my family
For 64 days after we relocated our mother, we went through pure hell. The medical delivery system did not fail our mother as some may think. The system is designed to allow these frail seniors to be killed. They are marked for death by the insurance industry. When you get on Medicare at 65 years old with any and all future medical problems, they begin to size you up for death.
My Favorite Quote
Ask questions until you are out of breath! It may be your last breath that you will take. That last question can be a lifesaver.
