I watched our 'Ancient Acupuncture & Chinese Herbal Health Center' light box sign turn on for the first time. I do not know how long I stood there with tears in my eyes.
My thoughts went back to more than 40 years ago, when I was a little girl, I always watched my parents work at their hospital pharmacies. My mother’s hospital was well known for treating skin problems. The hospital had a special dermatology pharmacy. I watched my mother using the specula to make their special skin crème. I also remember my father lifting me to a tall stool to watch him work. There I saw red, pink, blue, green, yellow-so many colored liquids made by my father. What beautiful magic! When I grew a little older, I became a good helper, putting labels on.
Today I am on the other side of the globe and I have been practicing acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine in USA for 15 years. I have seen more and more people who are looking for alternatives to drugs; and I have always wanted my own Chinese herbal center.
As a native Chinese medicine practitioner, I am happy to share our culture and knowledge with the American people and to educate them in staying well. The light is on now, and I feel like my parents are here with me. They are the light and love of my life. My American dream-The Chinese Herbal Health Center reflects their soul and spirit.
It is the first Chinese Herbal Health Center of its kind. I started as Chinese herbal practitioner in 1991. I have formulated herbal formula Happy Mood for depression, anxiety, insomnia and ADD/ADHD for Cornell and Ithaca College students. I formulated Baby Boom I and II for infertility patients in 1992. We have more than 40 healthy babies born since 1992 with our special acupuncture technique and herbal medicine. We have 6 people who have conceived in 2006 alone! One of them has triplets!!!
My sister, Dr. Yu Fang, is an ENT doctor in China where she formulated Sinus Care for allergies in 1986. It is one of the most popular herbal medicines in our practice. It was a long challenging road changing these herbal formulas from ones that had to be cooked and measured to capsule formats for convenience and quality control.
We have learned that natural bee formulas, especially those found in Beauty Queen for woman’s menopause and skin care and Purple Gold for strengthen the immune system, Slim Easy for lower cholesterol aids body fat loss. We strictly followed FDA rules and regulations with all of our herbal medicines.

We are working with Dr. Feng Jian-Xing, who is a plastic surgeon, and his Chinese Herb International Inc. to introduce bee formulas to American people. They are Beauty Queen, Purple Gold, Power King, Slim Easy and Royal Jelly.
We initiated Menoprogen (Woman’s Cap) clinical trial for menopause women in 2003 in USA; we will submit NDA (New Drug Application) to FDA in the future. We are still collecting the data from OBGY offices.

Special Music. A collection of our daughter’s piano performances will be played at the Chinese Herbal Health Center. Many of you may remember her was a little “round” toddler. The collection includes her performances from ages of 12-16, her award winning pieces and she performed for King of Jordan, King of Greece, President of Poland and four Nobel Prize winners.
We are grateful and thank this community and this country for what they have done for us. We want to illustrate it with her piano performances.
