As Tom’s reputation grew, many organizations, agencies and corporations began requesting his services to consult, train and provide motivational appearances. He enjoys sharing his vast and varied experiences whether in a classroom setting or before large audiences.

He looked for additional opportunities to share his knowledge for professional and personal advancement through his optimistic and humorous approach and format. His popularity grew. He was encouraged by colleagues to devote more time in sharing his talents and teaching his tool sets that would bring about more success in business and in individuals’ lives.begert-clark

Tom was an executive for a large adult day franchise. The operative word here is ‘was’. As consulting, teaching and speaking opportunities grew so did the adult day care company Tom was employed by. There was less and less time for Tom to pursue his real passion of consulting, speaking, teaching, and writing.

Because of his corporate responsibilities he found himself unable to accept many engagements from across the country. It was only those ‘little’ insignificant concerns any one experiences as they think about starting their own business that caused Tom to delay making the final decision.

You know such insignificant concerns as leaving a successful corporate career, a regular paycheck and a real live office! And then it happened!

The inquiries reached a point that he had to make a decision – Stay put or take the plunge.

'I’m 53 years old! I’m too old to be going through a mid-life crisis and far too young to think about retirement. So there must be some merit in starting this new journey in my life. About Tom Begert-Clark

He serves as the President of the Ohio Association of Adult Day Services and is a member of the National Association of Adult Day Services. Tom has participated with the Ohio Department of Health and the American Red Cross Cleveland Chapter.

Tom was instrumental in developing and implementing the Disaster Planning for the Elderly pilot program in Cleveland, developing policy and procedures for HUD services coordination for elderly residents in Ohio.

At 53 Tom left the ‘corporate world’ to utilize more fully his abilities as a Consultant, Motivational Speaker, Trainer, and Humorist. He is a nationally recognized speaker known for his humorous and powerful approach to business, personal and organizational growth.

He has designed and presented workshops, keynoted and training events for national, state, regional and local companies, organizations, religious communities and agencies.
